Welcome to the Nursing Program at Western Piedmont Community College. Professional nursing is a dynamic career with many opportunities. Registered Nursing is a prime occupation for job and professional growth. We educate professional nurses to practice in collaborative or leadership roles in hospitals, clinics and community health care agencies.

The Nursing program at Western Piedmont Community College is accreditated by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, Inc. (NLNAC).  Graduates of this program are eligible to apply and take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN), which is required to practice as a Registered Nurse.
